Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Yes, we have Interstate Trucking Authority from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. MC #1127917. We have transported houses as far south as Texas and Alabama, as far east as New York, as far north as Minnesota & Michigan, and as far west as Colorado. At last count, we have transported houses into or through 19 states.
This is a bad idea. Houses are engineered from the factory to carry the weight of the structure. They are not cargo trailers like traditional semi trailers. If you leave your stuff in the house, you risk breaking part of the frame, axles, or other parts of the wooden structure. These types of failures are typically excluded from insurance coverage by the contract you sign with us as well as your own insurance carrier.
There are a few ways you can save money. You can remove the skirting and clean underneath the home. You can remove any decks, porches, or additions that are attached to the home prior to our arrival. You can have the utilities disconnected and removed from the home at the origin. At the destination, you can reinstall your own skirting or reconnect your own utilities. Sometimes we need labor as well. You are always welcome to come carry blocks with us!
